The University of Pécs Faculty of Sciences Doctoral and Habilitation Committee (TTK DHB) controls and evaluates the habilitation and PhD activities related to the faculty's four doctoral schools ( Doctoral School of Biology, Doctoral School of Physics, Doctoral School of Earth Sciences, Doctoral School of Chemistry), and initiates proposals to the PTE Doctoral and Habilitation Committee (EDHB) to adjudicate the habil. title and the PhD degree. Its operation is based on the Faculty's Habilitation Bylaws and on the Doctoral Bylaws.

The TTK DHB members represent the four Doctoral Schools (internal and external members), and the committee is completed by an elected representative of PhD students.

The deadline for documents to be submitted in the different phases of habilitation and PhD processes is always 10 days before the committee session.
